At Fairgrove Academy we believe that " Knowledge is Power and We the Students have the Power". Fairgrove is a K - 8 public school that focuses on literacy with an emphasis in Fine Arts and Technology. We have both performing and visual arts programs. In the performing arts we have our Broadway production shows, band, chorus, and dance classes. In the visual arts our classes feature landscape, still, portrait painting and sculpture. Students use technology to research, and analyze information. We communicate our findings through the use of video editing and multimedia programs. We have technology classes based in cutting edge digital media. This includes digital video and audio production, advanced graphics, digital photography, and DVD creation. There is a wide variety of enriching programs and activities throughout the school year, such as: Oratory, Fairgrove television weekly broadcasts, Digital Film Festivals and the New York and Washington DC trips. We have school teams in every major sport. The staff of the school is dedicated to helping each student learn.
